Top things to do in Los Angeles

Disneyland California is where Walt Disney’s imagination first came to life, and it’s still creating unforgettable moments today.

Here you can walk down nostalgic Main Street, step inside fairy tales in Fantasyland, and blast off to galaxies far away in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

No matter your age, you can find rides, shows, parades, and magical details that make every visit feel special.

Your guide to Disneyland California: Two parks, endless magic

Disneyland Park

This is the original Disney park, the one Walt himself dreamed up and built. Every land feels like a step into a storybook, from the charm of Fantasyland to the swashbuckling spirit of Adventureland. It’s also home to some of Disney’s most iconic rides and, of course, the beloved Sleeping Beauty Castle at the heart of it all.

Top attractions:

  • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
  • Indiana Jones Adventure
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Space Mountain

Disney California Adventure

Right next door, this park brings modern Disney and Pixar stories to life with big thrills and immersive lands. You’ll stroll through Cars Land at sunset, join the Avengers on daring missions, and soak in the boardwalk fun at Pixar Pier. It’s a park that mixes family favorites with some of the resort’s most exciting rides.

Top attractions:

  • Radiator Springs Racers
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
  • Incredicoaster
  • WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure

Booking Disneyland California tickets? Here’s what to know

  • The 1-day, 1-park ticket lets you spend a full day in one Disney park of your choice: either the classic Disneyland Park (with Sleeping Beauty Castle and timeless rides) or the more modern Disney California Adventure Park (with Pixar and Marvel favorites). It’s a great pick if you’re short on time or already know which park you’d rather dive into.
  • If you want to dive straight into the action sans long lines, go for the Lightning Pass that bundles a 1-day 1-park ticket with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which has dedicated queues for quicker access to most popular rides.
  • Why choose just one park when you can enjoy both? With a Hopper ticket, you can explore Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day. Start in one park, then hop over to the other anytime after 11am. It’s perfect if you want the full Disney experience in a single visit.
  • The 2-day tickets allow you to slow down and soak it all in. You’ll get admission to one park per day (or both with a Hopper ticket upgrade), meaning you won’t feel rushed and can enjoy more rides, shows, and character meet-and-greets.
  • If you want the ultimate Disney adventure, go for multi-day tickets with 3-, 4-, or 5-day options. These give you maximum flexibility and let you experience both parks at a relaxed pace. Whether you’re aiming to try every ride, catch every parade, or simply enjoy Disney magic without rushing, multi-day passes are the best value.
  • Pro tip: Multi-day tickets don’t need to be used back-to-back. You have 13 days from your first visit to use the rest.
